runningwater adventures
AT THE JUNCTION OF PERFORMANCE AND FUN

As rivers meet, the confluence of adventure, sport, and travel placed Chris and I together in the mountains of Pakistan during 1998, setting us on course for a destination we now call runningwater adventures. The backdrop to this adventure was the wandering flow of the Indus River and jagged peaks of the Karakoram Range. Our headwaters.

As runningwater adventures we are both concept and brand, always evolving under the playful direction of the sport and adventure Gods. If you have spotted our footprint on the black sand beaches of Vanuatu or a dusty Mallee running track, you might have gained insight into our current 'shape'. If not, look out for our distinctive logo on mountain bike trails, triathlon start lines, or hanging off solid rock.

Through our website we aim to share our adventures from the multisport playground with friends, sponsors, and like-minded people. Keep checking in on us for breaking news from the world of run, ride, swim, paddle, climb and explore, or simply enjoy our transition from one web edition to the next.

Places of snow and ice are inspiration and images for our Winter Edition.

Photography and travel writing are an integral part of the runningwater adventures concept. Expect the image gallery to be of high standard.

We should point out that this is not the hard-core end of town. Our adventure world places its demands on endurance and ability, but is much more about endeavour and effort. Kids are a huge part of our adventure playground.

Christchurch VinesThe website is intended to be interactive, informative, and fun. Your feedback is important. Make your contribution in writing to mark@runningwateradventures.com.au and attach a best image. Your adventures can become our content. Thanks in advance.

Most of all, we hope at some point to share in sport and adventure, be it a small town fun run, mountain trek, or bluewater paddle. The news page will be a guide to impending mischief!
